What are the Hindu matrimonial sites in the USA?
Most large Indian portals, including Shaadi.com, BharatMatrimony and Jeevansathi, let you filter by religion, so they work as Hindu matrimonial sites too. Hindu families in the USA also use community association portals, volunteer-run events such as Hindu Matrimonial USA and NRI-focused sites such as NRI Hearts.

Are there free matrimonial sites in the USA?
Yes. Vivaah says every service on its site is free, while Sangam, BharatMatrimony and NRI Hearts are free to register, with paid features on top. Free to register isn't the same as free to use, so check whether you can message someone without paying before you build a profile.
On NRI Hearts, registering, searching, kundali matching and the marriage biodata maker are free. Direct messaging and detailed kundali reports are available on subscription.
How do you find a Telugu, Tamil or Gujarati match in the USA?
Search by community as well as location, on a site that lets you filter by both, and use your community's own associations. NRI Hearts has community pages for Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi and other families in the USA, and associations such as the Telugu Association of North America run their own matrimonial portals.

The word matters less than what the service is for. If you want marriage rather than casual dating, choose one that says so plainly, as BharatMatrimony does when it calls itself "strictly for matrimonial purpose only and not a dating website".
Are in-person matrimonial events worth it?
They can be, if you want to meet several people face to face in one afternoon. Hindu Matrimonial USA runs volunteer-led events for Hindu, Jain and Sikh singles, and GoForDesi lists matchmaking events in Dallas, the Bay Area, New Jersey and New York, and Chicago, so check each site for the next date.
When we checked on 22 September 2026, Hindu Matrimonial USA listed no upcoming events and said new dates "are announced regularly". Events work best alongside a site: you meet people in person, then keep searching between dates.
